Meet the Team

Launell W. Mcguine
Launell is CEO and founder of Scales of Justice 411, Inc. She has over 30 years of experience in Information Technology and currently works for an Atlanta based fortune 500 company in the area of cloud hosting and infrastructure operational support. She is a graduate of South Carolina State University and is a member Delta Sigma Theta, Inc. She enjoys volunteering her time, talent, and support of local and national nonprofit organizations that aligns with her personal mission to improve the lives of youth, young adults and their families. She is a proud mother of one son and enjoys cooking, entertaining, traveling, and listening to music. Her new found love is helping Scales of Justice 411 achieve its mission of empowering under-served families with skills, knowledge, and resources to “balance the scales of justice”.

Jackie Beard-Cathey
Jackie is a CEO and founder of Swanson and Associates Clinical Services. She has over 35 years of experience as a clinical social worker with extensive background in child and adolescent mental health services. Jackie, a graduate of Benedict College and the University of Georgia’ School of Social Work, currently works as the Coordinator of Social Work Services for a metro Atlanta school district. As a member Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., she enjoys giving back to her community and collaborating with community support organizations with a mission to address societal and environment issues impacting our youth and young adults. Jackie is a very proud mother of two children, four grandchildren, and treasurer of both her church and neighborhood association. In her spare time she loves reading a good book, watching westerns, and listening to smooth jazz.

Regina Nunn
Regina is Managing Member of The Nunn Group, CEO and founder of several successful businesses, A Beauty of Color Art Gallery, and The Bookkeeping Solutions. She is a graduate of Clayton State University in Morrow, GA with a degree in Electromechanical Engineering. She has extensive experience as Office Manager/Accountant for a major law firm in Atlanta, GA where she worked 16 years. In 2013, Regina pursued a lifelong goal and is currently a licensed Realtor® affiliated with Keller Williams Realty in Greenville, South Carolina. As the mother of two adult children, she now dedicates her time to family, her real estate, art, and booking keeping businesses, various youth organizations, and serving her hometown community, Fletcher, NC, with their reasoning and annexation projects.

To serve as a clearinghouse, and provide resources and referral information to those in need

- Offer free educational webinars, seminars, printed and online reference materials for local communities
- Sponsor speaking engagements with other non-profit young adult/youth development and mentoring organizations
- Provide contact information for/or refer to legal experts, legal services organizations, and other skilled resources, services, and programs
- Provide self-resources on navigating the legal and judicial systems
